• Was chopping firewood with a 9" circular power saw. The wood jammed up and pulled my left (dominant) hand in. Went straight through one of my metacarpals and left a large, 4-inch gash running from my middle knuckle to my thumb. I was taken by ambulance to Penrose Hospital in Colorado Springs, but they had no hand surgeons on call. We went to St. Anthony's in Denver, where I had the lucky fortune of receiving the services of Pav and Mouchantat. They restored my hand to full functionality again; I was doing normal activities with it within six weeks. Aside from the faded scar, you would never guess I'd had such a horrendous accident. These guys do amazing things.

• Four years ago I underwent emergency surgery, after which I was very ill and hospitalized over a month. I didn't heal properly and consulted two surgeons regarding surgery to repair the incisional hernia. I came to understand the surgery to be complicated and I met with Dr. Richard Mouchantat. Dr. Mouchantat listens and explains details well. He is quiet, calm, and caring. Dr. Mouchantat brought in Dr. Christine Rognes and they teamed to complete the surgery as they have done other times. Both doctors interact and communicate well.

• My face was broken in several places (jaw, cheek and eye orbit) and he put me back together so well, no one can even tell. His level of care and follow up cannot be beat. My jaw was wired shut for 8 weeks initially and he wasn't happy with the result. His ability to convince me to have it wired shut for 2 more weeks was impressive. The extra two weeks made all the difference in the world. My jaw works perfectly and all I have is a tiny scar in my browline. I highly recommend his compassionate and skilled care.

• Dr.Mouchantat is great! From the initial consultation, he makes you feel comfortable, answers your questions, and helps guide your decisions about what route to go with his expertise. As a nurse, I had a lot of medical questions regarding my procedure and a lot of technicalities. He made me feel very confident that I was in good hands. I'm very happy with my results and they continue to get better every day, as I recover.

• I began seeing Dr. Mouchantat when I was in my 50’s. I started with Cool Sculpting for belly, hips and thighs. He earned my trust with his professionalism and reassuring bedside manner. I have been back to treat varicose veins, get a short -scar facelift and other touch-ups. I highly recommend Dr. Mouchantat and his staff. They are caring, competent and reasonably priced. You won’t be disappointed!

• I have been Dr. Mouchantat’s patient this whole year and I am very very happy I ended up with him. He is very honest, knowledgeable, kind and respectful doctor. My breast reconstruction journey was little bumpy which we knew from the beginning, but the final result is more than I could possibly ask for. I’m very thankful and grateful for his care. • I received a breast reduction from Dr. Mouchantat. The results were better than I expected, I am especially impressed with how the scars are healing. My neck and shoulder pain is gone too. I had my procedure 6 weeks ago and I am healing so well. I would recommend Dr. Mouchantat to anyone needing a plastic surgeon. I feel he has the experience and skills people are looking for in a surgeon.

• Dr Mouchantat and his staff are wonderful!! I was diagnosed with breast cancer in 2022 and was referred to Dr. Mouchantat for reconstruction following my bilateral masectomy. He is such a kind, compassionate and highly skilled surgeon who has walked right beside me throughout my journey! I would absolutely recommend him without reservation!

• Dr. Mouchantant helped my wife during and after cancer treatment. He was great at communicating expectations about her treatment; always punctual, he cared about her well being and her as a person. He earned our trust and respect from the first meeting and has continued to do so throughout her treatment. Great Doctor and a Nice man.

• After having radiation and reconstruction of my right breast my left breast no longer matched. The "twins" didn't look like they were even from the same family. Dr. Mouchantat performed a mastopexy and implant replacement and I couldn't be happier with the results. My "twins" will never be identical but they do now look related! 😂

• He is wonderful! I had a double mastectomy. He patiently walked me through the process. I am an RN but oncology is not my specialty and everything was explained. Surgery went extremely well including recovery. He advised me on how to prepare before the surgery and was always available after. Truly deserves to be a 5280 Doc!!

• Have worked with and been a patient of Dr Mouchantat's. In the OR, he is the epitome of professional and caring for each patient regarding sterility, infection control and much more. He has great bedside manner and skills. I've recommended him to others and will continue to do so.
